Headphones.

This is a music site. So, well, what do you listen with? I am kind of a headphone junkie. Always looking for the perfect one.

What's your favs? What do you want? Do you listen with amps/dacs or straight out of the iphone/ipad/laptop/ipod?

Do you want open? Closed? Neutral? Bass heavy? What you got?

I like a great stereo system, but the AKG K77's are titties on a slow train (TOAST). Love em, use em in the live environment, too

As much as I'd like some open cans, I can't justify paying for some as I never listen at home. Almost all of my listening is on planes or while traveling and some hotel. Loved my old AKG K81DJ. For the money, they had great sound. The on ear got old after a while though. Currently using AKG K167 tiesto models. Like them a lot. Solid bass and high highs. Can be too bright at times.

Just ordered some JBL s700 with some xmas money. Can't wait.

Whatever I buy from the airport gift shop when I travel. I'm constantly losing headphones, and I really only use them when traveling or working out, so I can't justify spending any real money on them.

I bought these maybe two years ago and use them regularly at my desk. They still work as well as the day I purchased them and they sound fantastic:

For the gym, I just purchase Skull Candy ear buds from TJ Maxx. They're usually about $10 and are far and away the best bang for your buck when it comes to good gym ear buds.

I much prefer listening on a good stereo, and listen to music a lot in the car too. I only use headphones when exercising, walking, traveling. And I love the Senheisser PX-100 II's for that. About $50 a pair and sound great.

I picked up a pair of "over the ear" Sennheiser hd 280 pro and love them. Cost about $95 on amazon.

Nice. I'd love some open phones but I'd never use them...

Understandable, mine don't get a lot of use...I'm WAY more of a stereo/home theater guy.

Love my Koss Porta Pros. Use them through an old Fiio Dac/Amp that's functioning as an external soundcard for my computer.
