Again you can’t tell much from track times, but this sort of gets added to the pile with this album.

Nobody is saying that thereís anything wrong with it. Itís about the fact that two of the unknown songs that people are still hoping will help define the quality of the album turn out to add up to less than 150 seconds of album time. A nice comedown song at the end of an album can be great. Itís just a little hard to get too excited about.

Exactly. Put SW as the last song and fade/shaker the hell out of the ending like they do. Don't you guys think the last note of the last song would be great with Carter hitting his ride bell in SW? Like - "ding!" that's it folks!

Ah, the creativity this board could come up with compared to the band....

That is a great idea for an album closer. Thematically Sugar Will could have worked well on this album.

If they're good, it's only less than 150 seconds. and yet if they're bad, less than 150 seconds will be roasted for the end of time.

Like when Where Are You Going shows up in any setlist, the entire show is terrible.

I am probably at a 6 right now.

I was at like an 8 or 9 based on the rumors, dropped a bit but picked up when Samurai Cop came out because I think it is a great studio track.

Then I dropped a little again after seeing the album times.

I am looking forward to seeing how Again and Again and VITR came out in the studio.

ugh, imagine if they bookended an album with it. Two minute intro to the album, then finish the thing off with the actual song.

I think I missed the bkdk time... Wow. Is it possible that I feel worse about it than when I thought it was be Yourself? I'm thinking it is total cheese with Dave doing some kind of "be kind don't..." Type thing like he is admonishing his kids. This is loosely based off cali's post. Doesn't sound like it is a Roi bomb or be Yourself.

Even bkdk is reducing my hype wtf

Going by that interview, I'm shocked Dave apparently vetoed Death on the High Seas. Bismarck I can understand, because it's unquestionably a great song... but didn't he write Doths with his children in mind?

They could release such a good album if they did something like this.
