The one thing I'm really worried about that isn't discussed as much as the song selection is how Dave's voice sounds on the record. While I thought Cavallo did a good job with Dave's voice on Big Whiskey I thought Lillywhite blew it on AFTW and his voice on that record is one of the big reasons I don't listen to that album much. So that still worries me.

Also, I'm baffled at starting the album with those 3 songs. That said, none of the other known songs are great album starters either.

I think going into this album Samurai Cop is probably the only track I would have bet on to be included. You know what, I probably would have bet on Bismarck too. A day later and I still can't understand the band's reasoning for putting Can't Stop on this thing but not their best song of the most recent batch.

For the record, I do enjoy Samurai Cop but as others have said, I'm not sure how it'll sound as the lead single. I'm also interested to see if it gets heavy electric treatment like the full band shows or a more acoustic flavor like the solo/Dave & Tim performances.

Their opinion of their music and mine just don't match up in terms of quality. And that is fine, but I feel how I feel.

I think Samurai Cop is definitely better D/T than anything else.

Bummed that Bismarck didn't make the cut as I love that song. But, as predicted, as we get closer to the actual release, my excitement level increases. So I'm up to an 8 rather than a 7 even with the deflation of losing Bismarck...why couldn't they do another Little Red Bird-like companion disc? Bismarck, Shotgun, Sugar Will and another track or two would've made for a nice companion.

You don’t want a bonus EP that overshadows your LP.

Good news is we get to look forward to sets having Can't Stop on it all summer. I really wonder what they'll do with Bismarck this summer.

Yeah there is a strong chance that bonus EP would blow the album out of the water.

How excited are you for 'Come Tomorrow?' (Post-Tracklist)

A conservative 3 for sure. Still curious, but quite disappointed with this band’s decision-making. Again. I dont know why I expected more from them.

Some would argue that Little Red Bird does exactly that for BWGK. So it wouldn't be out of character if that's the measuring stick.

Was at an 8 prior to the track list just because Big Whiskey and AFTW were both really strong steps in the right direction. Plus Bis being a fantastic song when they were touring it.

Now after seeing it Iím at a 2. Canít Stop has been awful for what... 12 years now? The new songs are all titled like they fell off of Stand Up.

Virgina and Black and Blue both suck.

Just god damn this fucking band.

Well they kept playing a good chunk of the LWS tunes on the summer 2001 tour.

I agree with alot of this, EXCEPT for the song titles. Honestly who gives a fuck what a song is called. I get it, a cool title is cool... but it has no effect on what the song sounds like.

You're right, if The Dreaming Tree was called Dreams (Daddy Come) that gorgeous studio track would be unlistenable.
