Thanks, and hope you feel better.

Just curious, when you say that the first couple songs on the second set were no Dave, do you mean no vocals, or he’s not there at all?

He was late coming back from break.

There wasn’t a lot of vocals at all.

Space between, shake me, recently, 27 had vocals. - off the top of my head. Most of it was just arranging and jamming. A lot of start/stop. It wasn’t like they were playing a concert. It was a legit rehearsal. Practice.

Yeah, I got that. I was just wondering why he’d be completely absent. But that makes sense. Thanks!

Thank you much. Also, i was just curious about how things were setup, definitely not doubting the validity of your info.

Appreciate you sharing what you did, this has me excited for the tour.

I dont know if ive articulated it, but I am extremely excited for the lineup change. Over the last few years i just havent enjoyed the shows ive been to, not because of the setlist, but because the sound was monotone to me and they werent changing the structure of songs enough. Everything felt too rehearsed and going through the motions. Buddy hopefully lights a fire to insert some new ideas and freshens up the songs.

Seriously. There's stiff competition, but that may potentially be the dumbest thing greykitkat has said on here

Yup I agree with Mitch. I care about the studio stuff, but only how it impacts the live show. If they are going to be playing crap songs for 2/3rd of the show thats tough. 2009 is almost un-listenable because theres too much BW.

Inserting a new musician is exciting, and hearing they are playing some great stuff DIDO, Recently, BOWA is exciting.

At least it wasnt Jimi, Grey St, Too Much, SMTS, WTWE, Cornbread, Save Me, etc.

Shake Me Outro jam could be interesting. That's a song that I'm kind of surprised never got some extension given how they love to play it in power slots.

yes true. Id like if they cycled in older crap too. Replace the 9 millionth cornbread with a stand up (for it). or you and me for (gasp) dreamgirl.

EDIT: this is probably dumb. Jimi, nancies, and grey st arent going anywhere.

I would also guess that he may sit out some songs as well. Butch didn't play on an entire show for a while.

They just did a VERY cool Jazz-ish intro to squirm. They were messing around but it sounded pretty awesome.

Truth. Not to put too fine a point on it, but BTCS/LWS-era DMB would have found something better to do with that ending than just vamp for a few bars and trail off.
