Voted a 10, seeing the bonus disc now is only live tracks? My vote is now a rounded up 4.

1 disc, and the pre-order bonus isn't b-sides but 10 live songs that there's not much interest in?

They announced the album with ticket sales. This was a picture reveal with some live songs released.

I don't know you go from a 10 to a 4 based on bonus tracks. Even if you don't care for the tracks, that is basically saying that all you cared about was something that was theoretical in the first place.

Maybe some of you knew what was supposed on the alleged bonus disc, and that's why. From a 6 to a 4, maybe. But like "all out couldn't be more excited" to "below meh" based on a bonus disc alone? I don't get that.

Ding ding ding. Also, no track listing and vinyl releases of previously released shows.

I’m down from a 4 to 2-3. I’ve been skeptical about the prospect of them being able to make a coherent album using a bunch of different producers, tracks from different sessions over more than a decade, and then the fact that they’ve obviously had a lot of trouble finishing what they’ve been working on since ‘15. I was able to get more comfortable with the idea when there was the prospect of a lot of tracks. But now that we know it’s one disc, four producers and 12 years of songs, I’m back to feeling like this has a much better chance of being a complete mess. But that’s really just reverting back my baseline.

Ill reserve judgment until the track list but my enthusiasm has dropped slightly after today's announcement.

Cool title and cover, but I am getting the sense they may have scrapped including alot of songs.

I'm up from a 4 to a 7. Seeing a title, release date, and cover art is what we've been waiting months to get. I can wait another couple weeks for the tracklist, no problem.

And the bonus disc is exactly that - a bonus. I don't think it eliminates the possibility of getting B-sides that we wanted, those could be "exclusives" down the road. Plus I'm excited to hear at least 5 of the tracks on the disc. I'd take getting those released in any format.

This 100%. All this BS these insiders pulled with “20 songs!” And “finally gonna get the real deal” really ruined everything whether it was ever true or not. Now finding out that basically most of the info we were getting is either totally wrong or inaccurate, I can’t even have any faith at all there any old songs on this thing and that’s the only thing I was excited about. I think the “old songs” will be samurai Cop, Bismarck etc.

Mark Batson really helped spread that enthusiasm now with all his little tidbits. It wasnt just the insiders.

I don't think Batson excited anyone here.

But yes, being angry about this release because you bought into what Ants insiders said isn't the bands fault.

I dont agree with you. And if the band did record 20+ tracks and decide at the last minute to hold them back then yes it is the bands fault.
