Honestly, I talk a lot about the 04 tour but another great thing that tour had going for it was it seemed to have different openers and closers. I would be ok with a large number of songs that aren't traditionally played there.

This is the perfect opportunity for my biennial post pointing out that the last chord of Grey Street is the first chord of JTR on the same exact guitar.

How Grey Street -> JTR hasn’t been happening for years is something that’s always baffled me. Think of how that would sound, that last note of GS and then BAM! JTR.

How about not a single opener repeated all tour?
Throw everything out there and see what hits. There are songs that may be non-traditional, that would work as openers: Crash, YMDT, Drunken Soldier, Jimi!
