I would say Pig, DIDO, Hello Again, and The Last Stop.

I'm thinking something like this for DIDO - a too much kind of thing.

First three chords - 1-2-3, Dave stops and looks at the audience.

Then again - 1-2-3

Then - 1-2-3...1-2-3, then his natural chord progression and then the band comes in....you get the idea.

It would be fucking awesome. Imagine it the next time you are listening to DIDO....mind = blown............

I've always wanted to see Pig open. But one of my favorite DMB memories was the 1998 show in Lexington. Everything was dark with just the stage lights on, the band was noodling around, and then out of nowhere everything just exploded into light and sound as Last Stop rushed toward us. That example worked better because it was inside and dark, but it would still be a cool way to set the tone for a shed show.

If you want to see a potential Pig opener, then head to SPAC. Dave historically likes Pig openers there.

The Stone would be great, but with Boyd....

I've always been partial to Seek Up as an opener. Can't go wrong there.

Big Eyed Fish.

Either freuquently segueing into different songs or stand alone with LWS outro. A little something for the new violinist to show her chops.

Now that I have seen Seek Up open.

I would like to see them revisit Dreaming Tree as an opener. Its been since what 2009 or so since they opened with DT?

So many other great choices as well. Maybe Help Myself?

Crazy Easy would be a really random and cool opener. Typical Situation would be a mellow but a classic opener. Grey Street is beat to hell as a closer, but opening with it would be exciting. Maybe when that little red guitar comes out for the first song, the band can open with Shotgun or IOY instead of Squirm for the 100th time.

My prediction is they keep openers relatively safe and they don't branch out. Lots of DDTW, Seven, Squirm, BEF, OSW, YMDT, and WTWE type openers.

But maybe they will add a new opener or a song that hasn't opened in a while. (like TSTJL in 2016)

Then they will mix in a few of the rare openers such as BOWA, The Stone, Seek Up, and Pig.
