That disc is pretty amazing, especially disc 2, but they're right about Broken Things. I'm not sure what went wrong but that mix sounds terrible.

harsh. His voice is fine on the BEF>Tender. It’s not 100% but I don’t find it bad. You’re right about Broken Things though, don’t know how they let that version on there with that mix. And yeah I’m not a fan of that Dreaming Tree, ‘06 is just not one of my favorite years to listen to at all. The ‘07 and ‘08 Dreaming Trees are a lot better, they hit its stride again by that point. This one drags and you can tell they just haven’t played it in a while. Even Roi messes up the intro

I thought initially that the Broken Things they'd chosen was the debut band version, which is excellent.

The debut version is amazing

And I stand by opinion on BEF/Tender. These versions should not be released if this guy scratches his way through all the falsettos.

That’s his voice, though. He rarely nails a falsetto. Especially in the last decade or so.

I've now determined that I have not received my 2017 warehouse package because for anyone who hadn't received them by a certain date, they are going back and editing the disc to remove Boyd.

I emailed them last week and got the luggage tag excuse previously mentioned. They said a few more weeks until they ship.
