Same here. I need a pair for the gym, as my wired headphones are so annoying. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

The AirPods are one of the best purchases I've made in a while. I absolutely love them.

I was using the "wireless" Beats PowerBeats... but they have that cord that connects the two and goes behind your head. These are infinitely better.

I was thinking about those, but I'm nervous that they will fall out accidentally at the gym. I don't line Beats, but I would like headphones that go on my head.

I personally have never had any issue with the Airpods staying in my ears.

I have a few sets of these. They go down to $19 every month or so.

The sound is good and they pair easily.

Never used air pods though

welp I got the job at the new hotel. Leaving the super fancy Seelbach (and I really enjoy working there, despite my complaints) but I can now officially put "MANAGER" on my resume. Not much more pay, but I'll be getting more responsibility and I think this will open me up to much more in the future.

Congratulations! Even without a big pay bump, moving to manager is a big step up. Good luck!

I was adamantly against getting them at first. I thought they look weird and having to carry around a charging case would suck. The battery life does leave a little to be desired, but I love them, especially for talking on the phone.

We’ve got a nesting pair of bald eagles nesting inside the park that houses my brewery (I swear to god, they’re in a tree directly above the building that houses our authentic Wright Flier III. Our CEO must have sacrificed like a dozen virgins to make it happen). I just spent 15 minutes watching them fly around the park and build their nest. Absolutely beautiful birds.

k so today was my first day as a manager. We haven't opened yet and I haven't even interviewed anyone for my hotel but reality is starting to set in.

I'm 35 and this is the first time that I literally control peoples lives. I met with my boss today and we agreed that the front desk staff at this hotel is my responsibility. The pay for my employees won't be very good so it'll be mostly part time and young people. But still.

At the end of the day, peoples pay checks and livelihoods will be up to me. There is going to be a time when someone fails and I have to cut them loose. They may be late on their rent or car payment and I have to tell them they are no longer earning a paycheck.

Fuck me. I became an adult way too late...

I don’t have any sympathy for those type of people...I worked a low paying job for quite awhile and didn’t pop out any kids, run up credit cards. At the same time I managed to put myself thru school and build a savings account, all without a penny from my parents. It’s not easy but it’s doable if you’re responsible and clever.

RIP Stephen Hawking. I don’t know why this one surprises me so much.
