BTCS ... Can it get any better?

Is it possible for DMB to make an album better than Before These Crowded Streets?

Should ask "Do you think they will...."

Obviously they can, but most likely won't.

The answer is certainly yes. How can we know that DMB will not surpass something they've already made with something that hasn't even been made yet?

Up until this point, I wondered why they hadn't tried to make a record in the same vein with all the jams, guests, hidden tracks, thought out lyrics, etc. The albums after BTCS just looked like records with songs on it. I don't think Big Whiskey is going to be the one that'll blow it away, because I've heard one studio cut so far. Funny The Way It Is. But, I thought Stay had cheese when I first heard it, so you never know.

I dunno.

IMO, it's like asking if anyone can ever win as many games as Cy Young again.

Sure, someone can. However, no one will. DMB can make an album as good or better than BTCS, but I'd be willing to bet anything that they won't.

i don't want to get into this again, but there was a really good discussion on this in the album thread on the last page or two. in a nutshell, most agree with you, i adamantly don't.
