Honestly, this show is the best chance I have of going to one with any kind of hope. Anything later in the tour and I'll know what they've been doing.

Isn't this your first time out there? Don't give up on it. It will be a fantastic experience regardless of the sets.

No kidding. You have to do the Gorge. If they played Cant Stop on repeat, I’d probably still be at the top looking out across the place with big ass smile on my face.

Then why not go see a good band at the gorge?

I’m just nervous about dumping $1,500-2,000 on a potentially horrendous tour. Yes, this would be my first time seeing them out there. If you guys were me, you would still see them at the Gorge this year despite everything that’s been going on? I could just do my usual SPAC run and call it a year. Decisions.

Look at the '05 Gorge sets. In a touring year that many would call the worst of this bands career, supporting an album which most would call their absolute worst, they still managed to have some interesting sets at the Gorge that year - all things considered.

Yeah, it’s still DMB at the Gorge. Who knows, if this album and tour flops, they may never get back there.....

If you really want to "see the Gorge" then go.
I went once and it was fun but not worth going to again unless I was meeting up with a bunch of friends or something.
I'm spoiled due to living in the NE but the gorge wasn't worth the hype to cost ratio vs hitting numerous shows including spac for the same price

There’s a strong possibility that the album will suck but the tour will be good

Valid points gentlemen. I’ll certainly think it over.

Just picked this up. I'm gonna try to mixlr Atlanta, Orange Beach, and Jackson - if mixlr isn't working, at least record. I know OB didn't have a recording a few years ago, and unsure about Jackson w/ taping so I'll do my best with this.

Shure made some of the best record player cartridges back inthe '70s and '80s too! I want to get one for my current record player rig.

I'm hoping Orange Beach isn't cancelled because of the potential storm coming this weekend. Hurricane season starting early this year.
