Completely forgot about the girl from VH1, that was really cool stuff when she shared that link, but she disappeared pretty fast. It's things like this makes you still think some people have stuff that isn't out there that hopefully will get out someday.

Listened to 7/25/01 IEM today. I think Roi said "what the fuck does that mean Dave?" and he was referring to a sign that said "fuck the pig keep the monkey in the tree"
Funny stuff.

Then Dave went on to explain the meaning behind the sign.

I don't know anything about the Foxboro show. It wouldn't surprise me if they didn't consider it for release. The PNP botch to start the show is a bad way to kick off a show, but I think there's another recent one that had an early botch like that? I know that in general if there is a guest they have to get rights to use the artist's performance. If they are part of the opening act, most of that is handled contractually now, though it wasn't always. Guests that aren't part of that opening contract, especially from further back in the day when there wasn't the foresight, aren't always a slam dunk. But when I asked about Giants, there was nothing mentioned about it being hard because of Big Voice Jack. You'd have to assume it would be pretty easy to get Bela or Butch's signoff, maybe they already already have a perpetual agreement in place.

Do they really need Bela's sign off for a guest spot though? Bela confirmed they never received royalties or anything from any official release where he was a guest on. So if there is an "agreement", it seems to be 100% in DMB's favor.

Bela and Butch, probably not. But Big Voice Jack which may be harder because he's deceased?

Damn I didn't know about that.. what a bummer. Yeah I think Stefan was absent from the mix if I remember correctly. I didn't realize it was broadcast on WBCN as well.

If possible, there are definitely a few shows that I was hoping you could share?

I'd really appreciate it if someone could share the 7/7/01 IEM (Pig show). Lost my copy and have been trying to get a new copy for the past year.

Which of the '97 & '99 D&T ones should I upload first? Recall that I don't currently have a lossless copy of 2/17/97...would be great if someone else does and could share.
