Seems like a version of the new album (maybe one from the listening parties) has leaked, there is a lengthy thread discussing it here:

It's out there, four songs so far (not including Mind Your Manners). Not great sound, though. The stuff is better than Backspacer so far, IMO, though it does feel like it could have come from that record.

This is great. Pearl Jam does such a great job promoting their albums.

Listened to the album twice on itunes...I really enjoyed it. I also enjoyed Backspacer and I think this improves upon that.

the production on this album is unique, i got the copy from what and burned one down and absorbed it.
the opening three tracks are so heavy that when Sirens comes on it is like a breath of fresh air, really liked the songs, lots of piano and secondary percussion, i really enjoyed it though... fathers son kinda resonated with me a little cus my dad is a douche (if my mom was a prostitute it would have hit home really hard hehe)

also Infallable and Pendulum are some of the weirdest things PJ has done...

Bah, why do bands always have to stream shit on iTunes? I hate Apple. Stream it somewhere else too.

i wish they'd do away with the week-early stream all together. people wait for these albums they care about for months and months, what's another week? especially when the album will leak and people like us will download it early anyway.

I don't understand this logic at all. Give me the album as soon as fucking possible to listen to. Usually once it hits a stream you can count on a torrent soon after.

Quick thoughts after first listen:

This has a Backspacer feel at times but is just not the same. It's better. I want PJ to rock (which they do on several tracks here) and I want them to stretch themselves (which they also do on some songs here as well). Some cheesy songs but nothing I can't stand. Good stuff

This sorta sums up my thoughts. Pretty balanced record that i definitely think will grow on me. Much better than Backspacer for obvious reasons (but I like that album). Sirens might be my favorite off Lightning Bolt so far.
