Ah yes, I've also been to Turner Field and Cleveland Municipal.

For a brief time it was also called SBC Park.

Went to the Phillies/Marlins game yesterday.....it was 101 degrees in the parking lot before the game and packed to the rafters 'cause it was the '08 WS team reunion and Brad Lidge bobblehead day. Brutal!

Nice to see them humble the Yankees this weekend

And that Phillies team. That's a good, fun team.

Brutal because of the weather or brutal because you, as a Marlins fan, picked a Phillies game honoring the 08 world series team?

Nah, the weather and the crowd. Also: it was the first time I'd been to a game in Philly when they played the Marlins where I didn't see one single other person wearing Marlins gear. That surprised me.

My wife is a Phillies fan, so I don't hate them as much the last few years since the Marlins are a trainwreck. Give it 5-10 years and that'll change again, I'm sure.

In closing: fuck Shane Victorino.

Oh, absolutely. I never minded Utley, Hamels, Howard, Rollins, etc. For some reason, I always viewed Victorino as just a smug prick. Haaaaated him as a Phillie, and didn't care for him much after that, as well.

Anyone following Tampa bay’s pitching? They basically have no starters. The ‘opener’ throws 2-3 innings and then a long reliever throws 3-5 and then there’s the setup guy and closer. Really bizarre, but it’s working for them.

Yeah it’s really bizarre but because they only have 2 solid starters (archer and snell) they figure they have nothing to lose. And in a division where the two teams ahead of them are both 35+ games over .500, they’ve managed to somehow also stay above .500. And they’ve fucked the Yankees numerous times this season with that setup.

With a duck taped outfield no less. They’re playing well but still make me nervous.

Honestly, though as long as things stay on course we should be healthy by the playoffs barring any major stepbacks for Bauer. Encarnacion is very close to returning, and Miller isn't far behind either.
