I’ll never get 6.8.97 or the 12.5.98 Last Stop, but I am sure the 2019 tour opener will be a hot get.

I can understand wanting to highlight dmb 4.0/buddy, but even if that’s the case, song selection could have been way better.

Some good stuff on here. Hello Again, #27, Lover Lay Down, and Minarets. Those are four I'll take regardless of the situation. It's just the endless WIA, Everyday, YMDT, and OSWs getting chucked at us.

Take the first four songs I mentioned, merge them with the DYR, Samurai Cop, Stand Up, and Again and Again from the LT 46 bonus disc and you've got a decent 2018 sampler.

Also, we got the Seven from 6/6 on the LT46 bonus. They should just release that one fully, it's a pretty killer show. This Hello Again is going to rock on an official release.

Wow this is the worst I can recall. What a waste. I’d rather have them keep it and give me 5 bucks off the membership. I guess at this point all we can hope for is an old Dave and Tim release, if anything involving boyd is off the table.

Are they specifically trying to not release stuff with Boyd at this point? Or is it more just capitalize on what the band is right now?

I mean, we got the Sirius and YouTube shows last year, a 2018 live release, another 2018 release in the works, and then the WH cd is all 2018 tracks. It's a bit much, tbh.

Good. I did as well, could they have at least mixed up the years. Im used to crappy song selections but at least there would be a few gems from the 90's included.

This is the first time they’ve done a whole WH disc from one tour since the second ever WH disc right?

This might be the first time in a long time that the entire DMB fanbase (the fam included) agree on something.

I'm not sure that it's on purpose, but they're definitely actively pushing away the 'hardcores' who have stuck around and paid attention to DMB 3.0/4.0 hoping for good archival releases along with the new stuff. Woof.

Correct. (And, for the record, that's a great compilation in hindsight, off the top of my head....Stone, Grace, Grey Street and Seek Up were all fantastic 2001 renditions.)

Grace had a big fuck up in it, they could've chosen better there, but yeah I listen to that Seek Up, Grey, and Stone all the time.

There’s your silver lining? not often we’re in the same genre (or even library), let alone the same page of a book.

Spoiler:
Always thought of TDC/normal fans as the NBA when it comes to the family

Just a random aside, this was the last disc before they hired their archivist. The first two discs were sort of thrown together by whoever there. So there wasn't someone there going through everything to find perfect versions, I think they took a bit of a shortcut using the Chicago shows that were done for the radio broadcasts, and I think we got really lucky with the Seek Up.
