my bitch is the gaps this year that you normally don't see.
Cali and eastern OH > western NY and PA for example.
I know Stefan has nothing to do with it though but I also know he prob has no clue if Cali is really getting dates announced later.
I mean its been since approx 1999 that they didn't announce the full tour at once (minus a legit one off here and there)

He lives in SoCal, and is probably the most tuned in of the band. He wouldn't post on twitter about it if he didn't know. Though there is probably a good reason it wasn't announced with the rest, like it's a festival or special event or something.

It's the nature of social media. Not disagreeing with you, but every damn person has a voice now. And everyone is personally offended by everything too. I think Rashawn is a bit of a clown, but he has the right idea blocking comments on his IG posts.

Someone said No So Cal? And he replied "don't worry! with a smiley face"

So a festival, charity event, etc. Something will happen and they'll get a gig (or more) down there.

It'll probably end up being the 4th. Haven't booked a flight yet. Could potentially be an early flight on the 5th.

Definitely want to see you when you're in town. Rockies have fireworks on July 2 and 3.

Cool. We're flying in on the 3rd. Come to the Rockies game with us that night.

I live about a 5 minute walk from the ballpark.

I get that, I'm saying he doesn't control the dates as we all know so anything can happen, hell last week Syracuse was getting a show and this week it's not.
And he posts crazy shit on twitter all the time

I wish none of these guys had anything to do with social media and internet interactions with fans.

2019 DMB Summer Tour

Rumors have Hamilton de Holanda guesting through WPB. Stemmed from a dmbfamily post, and I asked someone else who basically agreed. Obviously take it with a grain of salt at this point, but it's intriguing to say the least.

That 6/6/17 D&T Two Step with Hamilton is one of my favorite things from the last few years.

That would be a great “replacement” for the violin without getting a violinist up there. Does that make any sense?

I’d welcome it for sure.

I would prefer to see Bela guesting at shows. I know Hamilton and Bela play completely different instruments, but I think Bela has a better history with dmb.

Something about Hamilton’s last stop solo seems off to me. Towards the end he found the grove and it was a great performance but the beginning sounded weird.

I’m not saying Hamilton is bad, I’m just saying I would prefer Bela.

Hamilton playing with band will allow for some monster jams tho. Would be exciting to see.

100% Bela is a better fit but Hamilton does give a new take

Grace with Hamilton is one of the best things I’ve witnessed this band do

He’s def a great guest, but there’s no way I’d want to see Hamilton play with the band at multiple shows throughout the tour or even on an entire show. I feel they’d rely too heavy on him on all the jam songs, and that will get old quick.

Not to mention they’ll repeat the same ones he plays on. As others mentioned he’s like a Bela-Lite—his instrument sounds close to a banjo.

Exactly
To me Bela knows how to fit in but stand out at the same time.
Hamilton is more stand out only
