Damn, tomorrowís show should be interesting. I mean, unless they actively avoid playing every song Boyd is prominent on which seems impossible.
Is the show tomorrow night webcast anywhere?

I've wondered about a few health things related to Boyd for a bit now: carpal tunnel, arthritis, and honestly some hearing loss. All of those would explain his off-ness the past few years.

My guess is that they do not replace him. Tim basically does all of Boyd's parts in the Dave & Tim setting, so I think that's just going to carry over to the full band now.

Funny, I was thinking of this entirely as mental health.

The dude from ZBB has a much better gig, which is ironic.

Not sure if anyone here is familiar with Miranda Mulholland, but she is fantastic as well. A Canadian Sara Watkins, really.

There are a ton of people who could do what Boyd does, if weíre being honest.

Itís a sentimental issue more than anything else.

Ha! Time to bring in another damn violinist. They brought in stupid trumpet boy, they can bring in someone else to play Boyd's parts....and really, they need to....unless they don't want to play their old songs....

This is a lot to take in. Ok he doesn't sound so good these days, but fuck, it's Boyd. Down to Dave, Carter, and Stefan? This is weird.

And yeah, wonder if he's on the album.

I'm floored at the announcement. And I agree with this.

Also, Boyd just basically left DMB, and you guys are dropping names to replace him on page 3 of the thread? Lol.
