I would've called it a HR. Joe West finds a way to get involved in every game. Please retire.

^ this

My take is that he didn't catch the ball and it was a HR. The ball hit the fan....next to his closed gove.

Joe West said it was indisputable that the fan reached out. I completely disagree with that take.

Apparently that logo is just one option among several...

They all kind of suck tbh. Bottom right is probably the best out of those if I had to pick.

From the article I read, you can probably rule out bottom left right away. Top left is o.k., but not great. Bottom right is probably the best of the four.

Yea that's not bad either. Probably most reminiscent of the old logo I think.

I'm just glad they're doing all they can to distance themselves from the Loria regime. Baby steps....

I like bottom right the most.

This kinda reminds me of living in South Florida in the early 90’s when they were having contests and polls to name the team. IIRC, Manatees and Flamingos were other names in contention.

Sox won the WS tonight imo. The way they’re playing I’d be shocked to see them lose to either of these NL teams

Absolutely.

Those logos are all pretty bad. Top left screams 1993 expansion team, so maybe they found that in their archives. Bottom right looks minor league. The other two are just bland, so Jeter must be a big fan. He finally got his wish with the HR sculpture.

Boston hasn't won anything yet. Assuming LA wins the NL, it won't be a cake walk for the Sox.

Man the Red Sox are just fully loaded. And if Price pitches like that again? Forget about it.

I'm already looking at the 19 schedule and trying to figure out what games to get to.

Cubs are in Phoenix for my birthday. I saw a game there in about 2003, so it would be nice to get back to the park. Scenic drive from here, too.

Considering either Houston or Seattle for another road game or two. Cubs are here in Denver in June which is great for work

I think I'll be able to finally make it to KC next year, and I also hope to add Colorado.

Well I hope you do Colorado. Let me know if you're coming out this way.

I did KC this past August and it was very cool. Fun city, great little ballpark, awesome BBQ. The worst part was driving through Kansas to get there. I never thought I'd actually be happy to see Missouri.
