Yea I actually think this time around a few of the songs we know will be on this thing. But I still dont think Be Yourself has any shot.

Depends on which tradition they keep with... dropping road tunes or making horrible decisions

If this does end up being the case, I'm fine with it as a start, and yeah, the others being dropped would be a very good thing.

Do You Remember - I should listen to this at some point
Death on the High Seas - meh
Samurai Cop - never caught me as much as some
Black and Blue Bird -
Bismarck -
Virginia in the Rain -

Super outside shot of Sugar Will?

I hope you're right. I can see it being on there, though.

I mean of all the new ones, that one disappeared the quickest.

Agree. Do You Remember has potential and I think the success of Virginia in the Rain all depends on the instrumentation and arrangement. I think there's something decent there--hopefully Cavallo helps them find it.

Hopefully we'll finally hear Sugar Will on an album.

Virginia and Bismarck are the only songs I could withstand being on it, and those if well produced could be ok. The others no thanks. Personally I really don’t even like Sugar Will in its curren form, not even close to being the same song, it didn’t even excite me live in ‘16.

I can see this going very similarly to Big Whiskey. A single will drop right before the tour and the album will come out in mid June. Pretty amazing there’s been literally nothing leaked about recording sessions. They are either going to finish what they’ve been working on the last few years or just go in completely fresh right now and hash out the album in a few weeks. The best albums usually don’t take years to make, usually they knock it out in a few weeks or months.

Announcement said they’re putting finishing touches on the album. It basically sounds done.

I will be getting the digital copy and would love to be able to download it the first day of the tour since TX is the first stop.

I absolutely love Sugar Will, but I really love it in the 04 form, just my personal preference. With that being said, I'd still love for it to be on album even in the current form.

could be the case. says you have to buy a ticket by 5/17 to get an included copy of the album, so perhaps it will be released shortly thereafter

I’ll hold my opinion until we get more details, but for now, I just want it sooner rather than later.

Do we think the fact that they aren’t even giving a title bodes well? That is a real question, not rhetorical.
