people are calling Coran bitching about ticket prices?

anyone that is diehard enough to call Coran (let alone know who he is) will happily pay those prices and lap up whatever DMB puts out in terms of a studio album (piss)

I think this is the approach most of us are taking.

It's hard not to, and I'm typically more glass half full with this band than a lot of people.

Not really sure what to think this time around with the album. Maybe that's a good thing for me.

exactly

I agree with what Mario said the other day- I think BW/AFTW should be the "ceiling" as far as expectations go.

Hearing that dave solo version of Do You Remember makes me pretty interested in hearing that full band. Pretty good guitar work in it too.

I have way more of a level or morbid curiosity about new DMB music in 2018 than I do excitement. We'll see how it goes.

I'd rather they not put this out. If it includes these new songs, it's basically a new album of b-sides. I still can't believe 18 years later, and aside from You never know, that Dave can't find it in him to write a good song.

Verse, Chorus, Verse, Chorus, Weak Bridge, First Verse again, Chorus, 10 second outro cut 2 mins too soon.

I would enjoy hearing a track that's mostly Dave on Piano.

Of this large collections of songs that Dave referenced I do not need 'the best selection.' I'll be happy with his or the bands choice on the tracks that they feel best represent the band at this moment and pair together as cohesive track list.

"He" ( I say that because I'm not convinced the call is true) can reference JT and whatnot but why and how are Phish tickets so reasonable compared to DMB and others?
If the want cost down, it can be down.
Yeah I don't know who is buying his BS. Just be up front, they want to make a certain amount and these are the venues we make the most on to meet that goal.

Convenience means guaranteed seats in asses I guess. Just wish they would take a chance. Camden every year is a bore. Just charge a couple bucks more and have it at the Mann.

Who wants to be inside for a summer show? Can you even tailgate?

The Mann is outdoors and yes, you can tailgate as its located within the largest urban park in America.

I imagine this could easily be DMB’s last album, so I’m hoping to enjoy it for what it is. Getting studio versions of Samurai Cop, Bismarck, Bob Law, Black and Blue Bird, and Virginia in the Rain could be a very nice thing, IMO.

Ah my bad. I thought D&T played a winter show there. Must have been thinking of a different place in Philly.

Same here. Camden is just such a pain in the ass to get to.
