Rashawn took a solo on the Maker. There were backup vocals from the other musicians on stage too.

Now the whole band is playing Iko Iko, led by Aaron Neville (I think?).

It looks like Aaron Neville plays as a quintet sometimes and as a duo sometimes... did he have a whole band with him for his set?

It was pretty good guys. My only complaint is Rashawn and I was hoping to hear a DMB song with Trey’s band. Trey’s band is absolutely insane. I’ve never seen him or Phish perform but they were no doubt the highlight. Wonder what Dave was thinking going solo after that.

Rockbridge guitars were really exposed on these solo performances. You guys are right, they are lifeless

Well I think he made a couple comments when he first came on stage saying How abt Treys band, they're badass or something along those lines.
And completely agree they were insane. I didn't want that encore to end, makes me yearn for Dave and Friends.

I love D/T but this was so refreshing to see just Dave play solo. And I hate to admit it but the 3 songs Rashawn and Ben the sax guy played on sounded really good as well.

Rashawn was pretty tasteful on Mercy but Save Me was a little over the top

@vi_shawnie

Nights like last night make you realize how much DMB is lacking. They need to hit the reset button
