I love the begining reaction when the guy yells "dreaming tree," and is then like, "oh shit."

Oh man, Why I Am is killer. Hopefully they keep that around on the regular for the rest of the tour.

If anything, I think it shows that the LOUDER, FASTER DMB 3.0 style can really use a pumping of the brakes.

Oddly enough, one of the unexpected surprises for me this weekend was how full and loud the sound was, and how it created a full band show vibe. There was so much singing, standing and dancing too. None of these things I associate with D&T, and would've expected it to ruin it, but yet it all worked really well. The singing and cheering after Watchtower last night was insane.

Wow, love that Pig. Been wishing for years they'd try that and safely assuming they never would. Why I Am sounds great too. Surprised it took this long.

N1 was awesome, N2 was even better and that's a hell of a weekend. Both shows were awesome last nights set was everything I could have hoped for. So many awesome bustouts my first time ever hearing spoon in any setting I was so pumped to be able to cross that off the list. Dave mentioned how it was Fentons birthday and the whole night felt very special..I had a f eking it would be because N1 was so heavily catered to the radio fans.

The crowd N2 was very different from N1 to me. N2 I didn't see as many people just getting wasted doing drugs, stumbling to their seats etc. it was much more of the "hardcore" crowd that was there for the music. And yeah the cheering after Watchtower was an amazing moment reminded me of SPACs crowd last year..crazy loud. I had a LOL when. They did you and me right after that

Also Why I Am was awesome can't believe it took them 8 years to try that song acoustically.

When we were up on the lawn I laughed at the Spoon sign, thinking there was no way it would be played, glad I was wrong, haven't heard it since MSG 2008

Yes sir. I appreciate that and happy many here enjoyed them cause I got a little different reaction in the pit. There were 3 couples in the row behind me and they legitimately had no idea what Spoon was. They were asking if it was some kind of joke. I asked what they would prefer and without hesitation 2 of them said Cornbread. Funny that it followed Spoon. I read stories about fans at shows and sometimes I wonder if they're real but experiencing that I don't doubt anymore.
Prior to these Philly shows the 4 or 5 d/t shows I've been to I've seen Old Dirt Hill and Dreamgirl signs. No offense to anyone that likes those tunes but I couldn't take it anymore.

A couple of dudes beside me errupted with excitement when ODH started yesterday. Then they talked through the second half of the song.

I was only a few feet from you N1, N2 a little further back. Definitely saw people leaving for the bathroom during Spoon or sitting down - hate to see that because you want the crowd to reward him and provide some positive feedback when he goes out on a limb like that.

One of the funniest moments I thought was when the crowd erupted with fever-pitch applause after Watchtower, and then he goes into Y&M. Lol.

Saw that too, lol. Did you see the chick in row A of orch 2 that wouldn't sit down and on her phone during Tim's solos and DOTHS? Everyone within a 50 foot radius is sitting down but her. Her boyfriend sat down but she just kept standing on her phone - inconsiderate bitch had an attitude all night and caused drama when some people came down front during encore.
