This is just way too loud. I'm sure the lights were seizure inducing as well. I want to hear DMB play music, not play their instruments as hard as possible.

WOW! Everything about this seems so inspired! From the lack of the Time Bomb Intro to the intensity and pace that they play it, Tim's solo was spot on and didnt wander like it used to, and of course Carter and Higher Ground interpolation.

Too bad the crowd so not into it

Crowd not into it? Seemed energetic in person

Edit: I think it's because everyone is singing not screaming.

According to dmbboyd's logic you're an asshole for being pissed that some idiots would bring their young child to a concert.

These types of Two Steps are fun live, but I hate listening to them on type. Not a fan of the slowed down part in the middle, or the hard-hitting bang-bang-bang outro. This is why this song made my list of 3.0's worst 3 songs.

I would have been happy with the set last night. A handful of surprises, a nice Bartender return and all-debut encore when they still had Ants and Watchtower in the holster. Definitely would have exceeded my expectations going into the night.

Aerofan's Bartender:

Lie In Our Graves:

Dancing Nancies:

Hoping he puts up Two Step

Edit: Just watched Bartender.. really, really strong from Dave -- especially the breakdown. But wow.. Carter looks extremely fatigued during the end. Struggling.

Ants was on the original set after Two Step. Thought for sure it was coming too during the show.

Whoa. Watching that Bartender video Dave absolutely does not have those high notes on the bartender "scream" section. Maybe he's just sick and its just a one night thing, but he's hurting just to hit the notes right below it.

Just seeing the setlist this morning....my expectations, which were set below zero, were exceeded. Glad Bartender isn't dead. Still ready for the band to take a break.

Had a great weekend overall grace and bartender were highlights last night. Two step rocked. I'm ready for a break now.

Gotta be kidding me.

He does the whole "rain.. god is not above me.." thing.

Rocks.

He was going through cups of tea at a high rate on Friday night.

I wonder if he has bad allergies? My throat gets sore sometimes when my allergies are bad. Being outside in the middle of Wisconsin during the summer can't help and then singing for almost 2/12 hours on top of it either.

I recall someone here posting about a conversation with his vocal coach last week saying Dave is pretty sick.

I'm sure it's not easy to bounce back while on the road.

If you need me to break it down on a piano and video it for you and show you the notes he didn't sing I'll be happy to. Or you can just think you're right.
