West of Milwaukee. Surprised he's here so early. Noticed the bus and Ashley first honestly.

My sister ran into dave at starbucks today. Her and her husband took a picture with him. Waited until his family went outside and then said hi and took a pic as dave was getting ready to walk out.

And Julia is the one being snuck in through the back doors of the bus.

I just realized I haven't seen Bartender in 6 years. Seems like they used to play it every other show. I guess it was played a lot in 14/15 but not at Alpine or Chicago.

Bartender hasn't been played since 2013, at least not the way you are thinking of it being played.

Doesn't she kind of slightly look like Dave? Maybe it was just the one picture I saw of them a while back but for some reason that's what I remember thinking

Ah I guess it was the acoustic set those years. Even so, still been 6 years for me. Since I didn't go to the Caravan shows.

I guess I'll hear/see Bismarck and Samurai Cop for the first time tonight. Maybe Plastic Girl.

Interested to hear your thoughts on the new songs live. I found them to be super underwhelming. Not that they're bad songs, but they're not good 'live' songs.

Bartender, it's a travesty there hasn't been a full band version in years. I missed in in '13 as well and D+T isn't the same and is stale. Those '08 versions were phenomenal and in general its one of the better 3.0 songs. A shame it's missing.

Agreed.

DOTHS was pretty, but not a good live song.

Bob Law (he said Bob LobLaw last night?) was awful. Really not good.

What was so bad that distinguished it from others?

Yeah I know but it should be called that. Bob Law means nothing

Decent seat tonight. Behind a taper who has my setup so it would have been redundant for me to try and tape.

Not sure what you're asking. I've only seen those two new songs. Haven't heard any other new songs. It was boring and repetitive and the music wasn't interesting or pretty. Plus Dave on piano sucks. DOTHS was at least pretty.

Not at all. She's thin and blond. The photos I've seen of the kids look just like her.
