can you show me the classification ruling that states that? I'm curious. Because if so, it would seem no brainer impeachable.

Time to close the press office. Stop helping these pigs with ratings. This all coordinated to destroy Trump. Just like the pile on of Access Hollywood, the day after Wikileaks started with the Podesta emails. Remember they thought that was going to be the "death blow"? Then they coordinated with all those women saying he had touched them.

How many more of these before people just straight up ignore the NYT, CNN, and Washington Post. They are so awful

I think Trump is sitting back and letting them embarrass themselves as much as possible before he sets the record straight.

The record is getting set straight. Unfortunately for you.

Yes. It was "code word" classified. Most of our government didn't know about it and they weren't allowed to tell even our allies.

Trump ordered Comey to stop investigating Flynn.

The clock is real now. He may not be president on June 1st. He's been running around the white house screaming and cursing at staffers.

And he's "dreading" his overseas trip tomorrow.

McCain says trump scandals "reaching Watergate size and scale"

He knew everybody was watching him and ready to destroy him, no way he would do something like that. There's a lot more to this story.

For the record, you believe the NYT that Trump told Comey to stop the investigation?

Nope. The story is just he's a complete moron who couldn't even keep the train on the tracks for half a year. And you continue to believe he's playing checkers...

Here's a great point: the info is STILL CLASSIFIED.

Trump didn't declassify the info, he just told it to another government. Buy the US would reject a foia request right now and say it's still classified.
[Only registered users can see links.]
The first caveat: While Trump has the power to declassify information, he doesn’t appear to have done that in this case, at least at the time the story broke.

"There’s no question that the president has broad authority to declassify almost anything at any time without any process, but that’s not what happened here," said Stephen I. Vladeck, professor at the University of Texas School of Law. "He did not, in fact, declassify the information he shared with the Russians, which is why the Washington Post did not publish that information."

Instead, Vladeck said, Trump "took it upon himself to authorize officials from a foreign government to receive classified national security information that was itself derived from a different foreign government’s intelligence gathering. That’s just not the same thing as what Sen. Risch described, and the law on this topic is far murkier."

Elizabeth Goitein, co-director of the Liberty & National Security Program at NYU’s Brennan Center, agreed that Risch’s point speaks to general presidential authority but not what happened in this particular case.

"Trump surely would not concede that the information in question is now ‘unclassified’ and available to anyone who files a FOIA request," she said. "The relevant question, therefore, is not whether the president can spontaneously declassify information, but whether the president is permitted to disclose sensitive national security information to anyone he wishes."

The NYT reporting that Comey created separate memos for every meeting, conversation, and phone call he ever had with Trumpy, and some are classified.

The actual reporting from NYT:
According to the notes written by Comey following a February meeting with the president, Trump brought up the counterintelligence investigation into Flynn and urged Comey to drop the probe in the wake of the national security adviser’s resignation.

The conversation between Trump and Comey took place after a national security meeting. The president asked to speak privately to the FBI director, and the others left the room, according to the Comey associates, who, like other officials, spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to reveal internal discussions.

“I hope you can let this go,’’ Trump said, according to the Comey notes, which were described by the associates. Comey’s written account of the meeting is two pages long and highly detailed, the associates said.

It seems, at this point, that Trump must be tied into Flynn's treason, right? It's the only logical explanation for hiring him when Trump knew he was compromised and when Trump knew the FBI knew Flynn was compromised. And it's really the only reason for, after Flynn is forced out, trying to end the investigation into Flynn by interfering and then by firing the FBI director for it.

You really can't believe that about trump can you? I've voted republican in every election I've been old enough to vote (write in this election) and trump is an absolute moron. Yes, the media is awful. Yes they are running with everything possible regardless of anything factual or verified, but trump is hurting himself with every step he takes and there's absolutely NOTHING he does that's strategic or a step ahead of anything. Anything he does that helps is himself is purely luck. As I have been from the beginning of this, you can believe the mainstream media and trump, along with many members of congress are fucking atrocious. Stop with the nonsense of defending the indefensible.

We may hit 24 hours and not a single White House official will have defended Trump on the record or on camera re: Comey

Today, Trump hired David Clarke, the Sheriff of Milwaukee to be Deputy of Secretary of Homeland Security.

Ignoring what a flaming jackass the guy is, lets just take a moment to wonder what international experience he has?

Red Square near the Kremlin with a Russian officer. Met earlier with Russian Foreign Minister who spoke on Mid East.

Because OF COURSE the Russian Foreign Minister needed to meet with the Sheriff of Milwaukee.

Okay, okay, let's talk about what a jackass he is:

[Only registered users can see links.]
Earlier this month, a grand jury recommended charges be brought against staff members at the jail Clarke supervises due to the death of an inmate.
But I guess he won't be in charge of jails anymore so maybe....
The position facilitates outreach to local law enforcement officials, including the state homeland security advisors. McNamara referenced comments Clarke had previously made about working across party lines.

“Asked about working with Democrats Clarke said he wants to grab them by their throats..."

Last year, the Republican House Majority Leader told other Representatives that he believes Putin pays Trump.

There is an audio tape.
“There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump,” McCarthy (R-Calif.) said, according to a recording of the June 15, 2016 exchange, which was listened to and verified by The Washington Post. Rep. Dana Rohrabacher is a Californian Republican known in Congress as a fervent defender of Putin and Russia.
House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) immediately interjected, stopping the conversation from further exploring McCarthy’s assertion, and swore the Republicans present to secrecy."

And the Predecessor FBI Director to Comey has been appointed the Special Prosecutor in charge of the Russia investigation.

This will go very badly for Trump.

Mueller, as Director of the FBI, threatened to resign when the Bush White House considered ignoring DOJ instruction that warantless wiretaps were illegal.

Ie: In the face of an administration considering breaking the law, he threatened to resign rather than be complicit.

Ie: He has more backbone than the entire GOP.

The actual transcript.
McCarthy: There's... there's two people, I think, Putin pays. Rohrabacher and Trump... [laughter]... swear to God.

Ryan: This is an off the record... [laughter]... NO LEAKS...[laughter]... alright?!

[Laughter]

Ryan: This is how we know we're a real family here.

Scalise: That's how you know that we're tight.

[Laughter]

Ryan: What's said in the family stays in the family.
