yeah, that was pretty awesome...don't see that group lasting too long though

large metropolitan area packed full of zombies? Eventually they'll find the buffet in that place.

By far the best episode so far IMO. Loving this show.

When will the second season start? If we have to wait until next Fall for season 2, don't they run the chance of losing a lot of the interest it's gained already?

Just watched "Wildfire", pretty great episode, sad to see the season coming to an end so quick, but I am glad this show is getting ratings and has been so damn good... The scene with Amy was great. Took a departure from the comics but I think that is a good thing, cant wait to see where they go with this...

Pretty good episode this week. Not as intense as the previous couple of weeks, though.

I kind of like how they showed that the "turn" isn't instantaneous and instead connected the whole thing on a cellular level (showing the scientist watching the "viral" cells taking over). Shows that it takes a little time and really helped create a pretty emotional moment with Amy's turning.

darabont said they're going to keep him around longer than the comic, he likes the character.

makes sense. He's one of the few that might benefit from it and if they can off him same way, might mean more

Wow. Kinda scary, b/c the show has been so good.

Regarding this part:
Quote:
We're just five episodes in and already show is attempting to explain the chemical root of the zombie-making virus, whereas the comic focused solely on survival.
I didn't read the comics, but I'd prefer for them to just focus mainly on survival.
