Bob Weir and Ratdog open up for Allmans this summer at a few venues. Weir's voice has gone downhill. Phil's better?

Page two again.

Played Deal and New Minglewood at an open mike last nite, both got better reception than the other tunes I played. I do the NMB way different. Accoustic w/ slide in open F# since I have the guitar in that tuning for JBTs Losing You.

Is gdlive.com down again? I've been trying to get on it. Streaming 07-28-73 right now. Classic. I also played FOTD at an open mic...went well.

I usually stream off of sugar megs or the archive.

Do you do FOTD fast or slow?

Fast like it is on the studio album..I was never a big fan of how the dead played it slow live.

Oh I like the slow version, but accuostic solo the fast is definately the way to go.

keep an eye on bt.etree.org. it seems to pop up every couple of months, as its obviously a high demand show.

there are some better 77 shows up right now.

Fun as hell too.. China Cat is fun, and Truckin' is tricky as hell.. so much chord work.

That's what sold me on Rock Band, and i'm sooo glad they didn't fuck it up.
