"THE" show of the early 80's is 8-10-82 from Alpine. Set II is particularly fantastic. I'm a big Sailor>Saint fan tho. Gotta dig that one out.

Thanks. Giving it a listen, and it sounds sweet so far. The Archive has it as Univ of Iowa though, and Alpine on 8-8-82.

But yeah, I love a good Sailor>Saint too.

how the fuck do you browse the archive now? i know its been a while since they changed it all, but it used to be so easy to go to a year or month of shows, now it seems like a real bitch to navigate. am i missing something?

i used to have shows streaming all the time, now i rarely do because if i want to hear something from europe 72 it takes me forever to search through for it. before i could just click the 1972 link and scroll down in 2 seconds.

That plus the Scarlet>Fire with the sliding bass lines is what makes it THE stand out show IMO.
