Ooh, I have to get his new album. Always love me some JTE live. Just wish he wouldn't always slow everything down so much and interject 'baby' into every song 500 times. Still, one of my favs.

The new album is a step in the right direction, I think. Single Mothers/Absent Fathers didn't do a whole lot for me, but this new one is a great effort.

The Sadies opened and then came back on stage as his backing band. They were really impressive. Great night!

Show was canceled in Cincy due to low ticket sales early in the window, then moved it to Pittsburgh for that night. They were playing in our arena, which is not massive, but still. I would have paid it because I really want to see Tears For Fears, but ticket prices for the show here jumped out at me.

Since both bands are in their twilight, I went for the 200 level seats in an attempt to save a few bucks (~ $45 after fees and such). Once we made it inside the arena and were looking for our seats, a kind arena employee upgraded us to the 100 level section so we had a blast.

I was supposed to see Tears for Fears and Bunbury last year but they cancelled the week before

No doubt, good for you guys. I'm jealous. My project I'm working on was supposed to have gone live yesterday and was delayed. I immediately starting looking for all these concerts I wasn't going to be able to go to and was confused when I couldn't find this one any more. I remember they were the only reason we were considering Bunbury as well. Not meant to be for now, I guess.
