Sets are awful yet they dance and high five like they're great. They're going to keep doing these, because they love them so much. Spac will be interesting.

Thank you. Buddy does more interesting jazzy stuff in the first two min of his solo than I ever heard from Butch.

Just curious what happened to DMBalmanac? Went to check the setlist there after I came home from work and it isn't showing.

Ironic huh? Dude is always on the organ but can play the jazziest stuff on the piano. Very versatile like Tim. Thanks for posting Jason

Has NiCK showed up to say how great a show it was yet?

Unfortunately it seems this will always be the case for the Chicago shows, maybe it plays into the "big city, radio friendly" set mentality.

It's a terrible venue in a big city and I have always had low expectations since they started playing here. 2014 was no different (and last year with Dave & Tim was just okay).

I fully expect tomorrow night at Milwaukee to be better than the past two nights, and Deer Creek to be the best of the Midwest run once again.

One of the worst venues I've been to (and skipped this hear as a result). The sets this year are stale as hell, makes me think about skipping SPAC.

No way this happens at SPAC

They treat Chicago as a festival set

The band is playing really really well. The lack of set variation is rooted from buddy learnig. He even said it during the XM interviews recently. He is overwhelmed by the amount of songs and not used to having any kind of set variation throughout a tour , let alone after writing a setlist, changing it from there....and they’ve only gone about 60 songs deep into their catalog.

The dude is a professional musician and one of the founding members of the Grateful Dead, I think he can handle learning a few songs
