You don’t want Dave singing AAA in the middle of a set

This tour really will go down as one of the worst. I started off the tour doing 6 shows down to 3. 2 of which are spac which should be decent. Never thought I say this but I rather see dave and tim at this point

The band sounds great, but the same songs night after night is shit. The only way to survive this tour is to go to a show without ever looking at a setlist or listening to a show beforehand.

You mean like 97% of the people who go to the shows?

Thought just popped into my head. What's more important: a show, and setlist, within the context of a tour, or how that setlist and showed is viewed and sounds years down the road?

I think it's the latter, with 1997 probably making the strongest case for it.

But the former makes 2018 frustrating to this point. I still think this tour is on pace to be better than 2014-16.

I think what truly matters is the experience you have at the show(s) you attend. But from a tour interest standpoint, these repetitive/predictable set lists are a snooze.

Agreed. Would help if there were even five or six songs that have been played but were injected into sets as substitutes for the heavier played ones (non-CT) like Satellite, Bayou, Ants, etc.

Also, if Come Tomorrow songs are to open throughout 2018, it's not like Idea of You, She, Cop and Come On, Come On wouldn't work. Spin the new album roulette wheel and keep us guessing.
