The only songs I think could take down #41 in a poll on TDC would be The Stone, Last Stop, or Two Step.

Possibly Minarets, Warehouse, Typical, Seek Up, Spoon, Pig, or Ants as well.

I would have picked #41 until this year.

I believe the new lineup, moving forward, makes Crush the more enjoyable song.

Both top-five song compositions, all parts considered, in DMB's catalog.

Crush by a nose.

Crush musically, and from a song structure perspective, i find more interesting, but vocally, i prefer #41.

Wish the current lineup would weave jeff on flute back into the mix instead of trumpet. Always loved the mix of tim’s david gilmour-ish playing with the flute on BTCS. I think that first warehouse 5 crush might be one of my faves.

They need to put the flute back on both songs.

#41 by a mile, my absolute favorite tune of all time. And with Roi there, it never missed. In recent years, #41 gained a huge edge when Jeff took the solo spot through 2010. When Tim took it over, it started to really fall flat with me. I feel like its somewhat different this year, and that's refreshing. Same with Jimi.

#41. Crush is the better studio track, but overall #41 has gone through so many variations of different members soloing, SO many guests over the years, it's been a 23 minute song live and it's been a 6 minute song. I could go on but it's weird because the more ya praise one, it's almost as if you're leaving the other by the wayside and ya just can't do that with an amazing song like Crush. So I'll just leave it at that.

Agreed LS #41 is my go to song for people who ask me about my DMB obsession. Roi rules this version.

LS #41 brought out the best in DMB 2.0 from the 7 min mark up to 8 min 30 seconds pure musically magic.

2.0 didn't come about until much later after Listener Supported.

Iíve always considered Butch to be the defining factor in 2.0, which makes Ď98 and Ď99 transitional years, but LS very much a 2.0 Show.
