But yea, the venue has its major faults. You can get stuck in the lots for hours post show. I donít think Iíve stayed through the main set closer in over a decade. Last time my wife and I bailed the second jimi started. This time Iím going with a buddy and we got a hotel room. Hitting treehouse before hand. Hoping we can grill in the hotel parking and then uber over.

There will be a bunch of us in the pay lot across the screen from the main entrance. We'll have lots of craft beer if you want to come by and hang out before the show. All old school board people that don't really come around any more.

I knew it couldn't have been '08. That was my post-show fireworks year.

This is the right answer because they have their own dedicated exit lane at the end of the night so no waiting to get on the highway.

Saw my first DMB show here in 95, then hit it yearly for awhile. Remember when they brought 34 back in 2005? Then didn’t see DMB again until 2016 here. Not pumped for the traffic or the late night!

So this show is going to suck right? I really have very little faith in this band on 1 nighters this tour, and the tight curfew really leads me to believe it wont be something to write home about.

Yes this show will suck I have 0 expectations about Mansfield ever since it went to 1 night. 2016 was one of the worst though as you and others have said.

This works best when you are on the rail directly in front of Tim and during can't stop. The word play works well.

So from reading the last few pages, it's easy out of the lots if you leave during the encore, right? Driving back to CT that night and don't want to be waiting around until 2AM to leave the lot if I really don't have to.

I would say your best bet is to probably scoot the boot after the 5th song, tbh.

Seriously though. You get the same quick exit as the vip lot if you park in those lots in the center. As you drive in you stay to the right then go back towards the entrance. If you arrive at like 2pm you probably can’t park there but around 5:30 or 6 no problem

If you want to be out with basically no issues, you need to leave with the last note of the main set, or during that song. And also jog a bit, depending on where you are. dmb makes is easy, because their encores usually are pretty basic. Last year I almost got burned in Bangor because Sugar Will was going to be e1, but they scrapped it, of course. Look at the sets, has there been one encore this tour youíd have traded to wait in traffic? Guessing no.

This is generally true, but sometimes they will still try to redirect you into the back lots at later times. A few times Iíve had to just tell them I want to leave in order to not get routed back there after fighting with them. If you want to gurantee you get in the middle lot, you might need to push your case.

Yeah, thereabouts. Hopefully with the strict curfew they start at 8:15 sharp this time.

The optimist in me thinks we will get atleast a couple of tour debuts. With the week off, Dave easily could have told Buddy (and everyone else), “take a run through this list and be ready to play them when we get back.” If not, they have hit the comfort coast zone and this tour will get pretty boring pretty fast. I tend to believe that won’t happen.

The N2 encore in 2004 was pretty sweet. That's one of the best shows I ever attended.

With the exception of the N1 encore the two nighter at Mansfield in 2010 was really good.
