This.

The mojo, the magic.....

Semi-interesting musically but not really a fan of the overall premise. Using women as a device for every idea is really, really tired. (She, Plastic Girl, That Girl is, Can't Stop...)

Sounds like an original by the house bar band of a Mardi Gras themed bar in Alberta Canada.

I like it a lot more than I thought I would

Jeff and Rashawn need to be turning up or more present thought out the song

Buddy really sounds good in conjunction with Carter

For a DmB current lineup - song is the best new one so far.

Overall sounds reminds me of Dave and Friends vs old school DMB

Besides the electric guitar, what about this song resembles break free?

Liking it a little more after a few listens. I wish horns were playing something during the verses. Would’ve made it a little more unique.

Yeah, I find the verses sound pretty empty, but I really like the chorus and everything else.

Just hit me that it reminds me of a Blues Traveler song. Could be worse.

I like this song.

This feels like something Dave would have written in the early-2000s.

Ok, so Grey Street, WAYG, YNK, and... She?

I mean, what?

Do you mean that this song would fit on Everyday? Because if you're saying that, then yes, I agree. It would have been the out of place song on Everyday. Everyday is a decent modern rock album and this song strays a bit off that path.

I was talking more lyrically -- most of the time, these days, when Dave tries to write a song about a woman it gets overtly sexual pretty quickly.

Not even a little bit. I think we need to rethink legalization in Colorado.

This song and the reaction to it shows you where the Dave Matthews Band is at the current moment. When a 90s-era band sounds like another 90s-era band (Pearl Jam, Creed) to gain relevance, what’s the point? This song is bad. It’s an indication of just how far the bar has fallen for anyone to compliment a tune. Dave’s riffs are no longer inventive. He’s parodying himself at this point. I’m glad Buddy sounds good. But these new songs are awful. If it took six years with multiple producers to come up with this crap, I shudder to think what they would’ve done on their own.

This is what Batson meant when he promised the record would return to that classic dmb sound?

Take all the complaints when dmb turned into a classic rock cover band for a few years, then subtract the fact that the songs are great songs (someone else wrote) and you get She.
