Last of Us 2 looks incredible.

Also very hyped for Cyberpunk 2077. That looked too fun.

Last of Us 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2 are really the only games I'm looking forward to right now. I really can't wait for RDR2 though. I hope the multiplayer is as fun as the original because while GTA5 is so amazing and the open world is a lot of fun, the PVP in multiplayer fucking sucks.

What would you put as a likely release timeline for a ps5? I'm still rocking a 3 (I mostly play college football which they stopped making in 14). Figured I'd skip the 4 and get a 5. Just curious what that looks like. I feel like I've googled it over the last 2 years and it's always 2-3 years away.

Hard to say. Microsoft announced they're at least working on a new console but I would doubt anything hits the market before fall 2020. But I'm just speculating.

Alright. 3 more years of NCAA 13 and The Show 13

There's PS2 and PS4 games that I wish I could play - mostly Battlefront, but I'd hate to lose the ability to play those sports games. I'll probably hold off.

I'm pumped for Mario Tennis next week.

Nintendo's E3 Direct starts in 20 mins. Expecting big things. The first year of the Switch was so strong, they can't get into a sophomore slump with year 2.

It sounds like it shouldn't be as hard to grab one this time. I still love mine.

Also, Mario Tennis Aces for the Switch has been a great time waster. The Switch is such a great console. Can't believe it's only been out a year and has the library it does.

It was much easier. I managed to get one for me and one for my brother in law.

Looks like there will be a PS4 + Spiderman bundle available at most retailers next week for $200. Hard to pass that up, I've been aching to play that game.

I can't get over Spider-man. I've only played a few hours but man, the detail in New York City is really impressive. The controls and all that are top notch as well.

Hey Nick, long time no talk. I haven't been sold on the Switch catalog at this point. Had the system for just under a year and love the staple games, Odyssey, BoTW, and Mario Kart. Also have Toad as well. What other games am I missing? Looking forward to Super Mario and eventually Luigi's Mansion.

What's up Nick!

Super Mario Party has been a blast with friends and family. That franchise is heading back int he right direction. Smash Brothers comes out soon as well that is sure to be the year's biggest game. Can't wait for that one.

Just got to 100% on Assassin's Creed Odyssey. I loved this game. I studied ancient history for a decade, and I have a lull in work right now.

Mario Party in general is so much fun with people. I work out of town on projects with 15 or so teammates that all travel and stay in the same hotel. Once a month or so for two years we had Mario Party night on my Game Cube where we'd play MP5 or MP6 and had title trophies, and a win tracker. We had a Party Mode trophy and separate mini-game trophies for Pushy Penguins and Dinger Derby. I start a new project in January, and I have a kickoff meeting on Monday where my chief priority is eyeing new potential players.

Everyone needs to play Tetris Effect as soon as possible. One of the most stunningly beautiful and hypnotic games I've ever played.

And if possible, play it in VR. It's seriously mind blowing.
