Is there a version where boyd actually plays the part right? If not, dont we think that its just the way its supposed to be played now?

The Studio Version.

did you grab the 256kbps AAC stream by chance with ffmpeg?

We have all but the last 30 minutes of that currently, so no further 'lossy' conversion and a direct raw capture. Need to catch a reair. Are they advertising any?

Alright smart ass. Does that mean they are playing warehouse wrong now since its not identical to the album?

My point is, just because the studio version is one way, doesnt mean thats how its "supposed" to be if it was NEVER played that way live.

The RR Pig intro was only slightly off on one note. I've heard Boyd play it so many different ways and can usually tell when he messes it up. Didn't think RR messed it up, he just played it slightly differently than the standard

I guess I'll jump on the "playing it wrong" bandwagon too. Dave's opening riff on Dreaming Tree on the Gorge 02 box set still kinda bugs me. Irrational as it may be.

I was messing with ya, but that 4.4.02 version is some of his best work on Pig IMHO

Crowd is really high on the Sirius stream and I'm not sure I like the balance of the instruments.

The AUDs came out better than anything I've been able to record in the past 5 or so years.

putting both sides of the state on each set of stacks again gives this year's tapes more balance again (as opposed to having a stronger sound for whatever is on the side of the stage where you're set up). Notice that they have two sets of stacks on each side now...in Texas, it was told to me that each of those sets plays one side of the stage and it's done so that it's balanced all over, but kind of maintaining the "stereo sound" set up.

Which source seems to be best for each night? Any idea before I go download all of them?

The Sirius feed seems mixed strangely. You can barely hear Dave's guitar and the kick drums are WAY up front. It would be fun to get a matrix of this thing, or have someone fix the levels, if possible, so it sounds better.

Crumbo and I were in almost the exact same seats both nights. Drews and Peters were with us N2.
