Yeah the author supposedly traveled through the Soviet Union doing charity work and was strongly anti-communist. The left hates that

From the article: The Washington Post reports that in 1952, a reader of "Little House on the Prairie" noted that the book describes the American West as a place where "there were no people. Only Indians lived there." |

So basically Trump made up a crisis at NATO and then made up that he solved it?

In a lot of ways I agree. I am American and proud to be but never would i think we are any better than a another citizen being proud to be from that country.

Literally giving everything away to everyone as long as you're not brown or poor.
The next great depression is coming. These farmers will never be able to sell their products overseas again, other countries are already stepping in to provide the supply. |

The next depression is coming because we spend too much money, including farmer bailouts

We could easily get rid of a big chunk of debt by cutting spending. Well how do you cut spending when you have an pit of control oversized federal government? Easy, start getting rid of all these uneccessary federal agencies and return them to the states. Also, it would take an amendment change for get ris of the federal income tax. We didnt have prior to 1913. How can the federal government continue to spend money when you take away its cash cow in federal income tax. Cut it off and force the federal government to stop spending. No taxation without representation. Honestly why should the federal government tax us on what we work for? So they can turn around and supply the welfare system, not what i want my money going to. I would much rather they add a federal dales tax on goods and get rid of federal income tax.

Without getting into so much of this, why throw "no taxation without representation" in there? |

Because it comes down to our taxes being used for things that does not represent our complete interests. Neither side represent us, and most only are in politics to line their pockets

You may be unhappy with your representatives, but we have elections and you are represented.

All politicians are bad and no one represents my interests is a lazy position re: US politics, IMO.

Notice how I said most, not all politicians. If I were represented like you as well, we would have a better idea and vested interest in where our tax dollars go. I personally dislike getting taxed to pay for a welfare state.
