Not much to complain about here. They weren't going to dust off Pig, Dreaming Tree or Spoon for the one show, lucky they played Two Step and Halloween. For what they were playing this tour, aside from a couple duds, this show looks fantastic.

Great show in my opinion. Show #123 and I couldn’t have asked for much more. Highlights for me were the Warehouse/Jane to start, Say Bye, and Jimi (I definitely get tired of it just like everyone else but I really enjoyed it with Buddy and D’earth last night).

This tour started out pretty strong, but fizzled out quickly. I think MSG night 1 was probably the peak and it went downhill from there.

About half the shows I attend I go with freaks like us and the other half is with close friends who are casual fans or just want to hang out with me so they humor me and go. My friend who went last night is the latter and she had a blast at a 3 hour concert where she had probably heard 1/4 of the songs before.

Are there songs I wish Iíd heard these last 3 shows? Sure. Would have loved Stone, Kill the King, Lover Lay Down, Dreaming Tree. I go into every single show wanting to hear Pay For What You Get, a song I got my first show and never since. In 2009, I stopped going into shows with expectations because I realized that feeling entitled (yeah, Iím going there) to hearing certain songs or wanting to be at the show everyone on the boards raves about only made my experience less.

I spent a good chunk of change on airfare, rental car, hotel, ubers, parking, and tickets (scalpers can go fork themselves) for DC and Cville and I would do it all over again. I enjoyed these 3 shows more than any full band show Iíve seen in years. Cville N2 is up there at top 5 for me because of the combo of songs, song placement and flow, energy, crowd, quality of performance, and just utter joy coming from the stage. I havenít felt this good about this band in years.

Finally, after seeing it live I now get the love for Again and Again.
Awesome Kim

Did you have a chance to make it downtown at all?

That's pretty extreme. I wouldn't call Again and Again a classic.

I met friends at Hardywood when I got in town Friday and then we went to Champions Brewing before the show and that was it. I stayed on the Corner at the Graduate. Unfortunately, with the weather I didnít get back downtown or walk around campus before I left this morning. Charlottesville is one of my favorite places.

Did you go anywhere you liked? There are so many cool spots.

With Pig? Interesting. To each their own. Pig is an original classic. Again and Again is a great song but it's not DM original like Pig. Big difference imo. Great song though, no doubt.

I think people will come around even more with time. The song is pretty genius, but I donít like it studio (strings)

Agreed, that’s crazy talk. It’s a good song and I enjoy it, but let’s not go crazy here, its not even close to being in the same realm as anything DMB made pre-05. And that includes stuff like Sugar Will and Crazy Easy to me.

If you want to say itsthe best 3.0 DMb song (from Big Whiskey onward) I can Definitley buy into that argument.
