My parents probably couldn’t tell you what my degree is in, let alone what music I listen to.

My dad grew up a Springsteen fan, he's from Pittsburgh, so he's really into the PA/NJ/NY music scene of the late 60's 80's. Lots of Southside Johnny and Billy Price in the house growing up. We also listened to a ton of Robert Cray. His Sister (my aunt) has seen about 200 Grateful Dead shows, so he under stands the interest in following DMB all over.

My mom has been to 10-15 shows now, she loves to go, we try to go to one each year together. Her favorite songs are Grey Street and Grace is Gone.

We try to go one family show a year, mom, aunt and cousin. Sometimes it works out, other times it doesn't But generally speaking I take credit for getting everyone into DMB and helping them waste their money too.
