I knew when Dave walked out on stage wearing a black button down and dark jeans that we were in for a special night

Opening with everyday was brutal especially since I saw it on Tuesday. Then following it up with funny really killed me. Just sucked all the energy out of being a special show. I thought at granny it was going to get better but really the only highlight was bartender and Christmas song. The sound was terrible last night. I know the td garden doesn’t have great acoustics but it sounded like mud warehouse gave me some terrible seats at full price.

Also show ended at like 10:45 while they came out at 8:12 it was still one of the shortest shows I’ve seen. I’d like to know what was cut If anything.

Seeing this show and NH over MSG is an all time reversal of fortunes.

Also, I told you Christmas Song was coming out in Boston. Dave kept his word on that one.

Also, one thing I thought was interesting was that the band has been staying in Boston since they left msg. They would travel to the show and then go back to boston. So that is why the tour was scheduled like it was. In other words: Dave cucked Boston so hard. He went off to other cities and delivered the goods and then took the biggest shit right where he was eating.

I was going to bring this up too. I have to imagine they got here After Mohegan and stayed through the week. Doesn’t explain to me why they played such a shit set last night but it would be interesting to run into dave in the city one time if they stay here again.

It’s also possible they are negotiating the fenway thing although I’d have to guess the actual band members don’t have much to do with that.

It’s just easier on everyone to have a ‘home base’ and not have to pack / unpack 4 different times. They do like Boston, though. They always used to commute from Boston to the Hartford shows.

Nice repeats from Manchester is INSANE though. It’s like, Dave you were driving to the shows from Boston. Maybe a lot of fans were too? Maybe mix it up a bit.

I was surprised at the repeats from Manchester too. I also made a last minute decision to go and ended up getting decent lowers for $60/each. For the record, I think they priced some people out of this tour hence why places like Manchester, Albany and Montreal have poor ticket sales and ridiculously cheap secondary market prices. You can justify (barely) a $115 price for a summer show that includes tailgating and more of an all day experience. Not so much for a winter show that, as mentioned, ended early.

As for the Bayou vs Jimi argument, I'll agree that Jimi is clearly the better song but I'd rather not hear Jimi twice in the same week, hence by comment. I also went to the bathroom during Bayou, soooo I can't exactly say I enjoyed it either.

Bayou vs Jimi is interesting. I think I’d take Jimi because it’s a much better song/jam in person then reading it on a set list.

Jimi > Bayou. Let's not overthink this one too much.

Again and Again
Grey St
Come On Come On
She

Were the repeats from Great Woods. No reason for Grey Street to be played thst much.
