The #41 with Soulive was also from 2001. Definitely some good performances from that year despite the overall bad taste.

2001 definitely had some good highlights but I donít think I could name a show I want to sit and listen to from start to finish if I had a gun pointed at my head.

Also this release of Grey Street reminded me how much I used to adore that song and how neutered it has felt for most of its life.

Iím all for overstatements to make a point, but you just listened to the Gorge 2001 show I picked without a gun to your head and wrote a pretty positive review of it and that was only like four weeks ago.

You should revisit a few 2001 shows, I think you may change your tune, at least slightly. Some good early-tour shows with the core 5, cool Trey & Santana guest spots in May, the June/July stadium run is mostly forgettable (save for Camden and the amps at the end of July....especially the AmSouth show, all great shows), then there's Hartford and the Gorge (even with N3 where Dave's voice was hot garbage) were fun to listen to.

Yeah the super early ones prior to the stadium run kicking off were kind of interesting shows iirc with Fish being debuted and the rotating name choices for it over the year. Plus 2001 had a lot of great teases or different versions of songs along with some covers like Waste / Ainít It Funny etc. Itís not a complete wash but that being said it sockets lower in the ďbad tour yearsĒ bracket than anything else. Helps that my 2005 shows were some of the better ones in THAT batch.

I just always focus in on the insane disappointment I had after the Giants 3 night stand. Plus the presence of the Ladies on WAY too many songs including the 18 minute long masterpiece that is Angel....

We need to make a legit pro/con list regarding the 2001 summer tour. It's too late in the day for me to think about that now, but if anyone would like to throw stuff out there....

Shit I thought I had responded earlier. Must not have sent at work.

I'll listen to a show if someone suggests it or I have a reason (such as when I watched N3 of the Gorge while my PC converted the VHS to MPEG). However, that being said even with a gun to my head I couldn't pull a 2001 show out of my ass that I enjoy from start to finish and I'll stick to that point.

2001 had its upsides and unique things that went on but overall the tour is so bottom rung for me that its one of the only years I don't have a full show of on my "instant" music library.

But I'll easily concede that I enjoyed and was positive in my review of your pick.

Shouldn't they be announcing the 2019 then? January member, just renewed, so... does that mean it is shipping within the next month (based upon what they said last year)?

That is correct but it seems like they are still getting the December packages out and you know how they are with multitasking.

I mean, I would guess announcement in the next week and then shipping next month. It’s for all the members who joined in December 98/ and January, and renew in January, no? Hopefully they’ll send out an enail reminding people to renew with the details soon.

Any other December members not get the 2017 package yet? Just so I know I'm not alone...

If true, they could have chosen better (as always), but that does have some cool stuff on it. Jeff Billies, Typical, She, Pig.

7/24/18, for anyone that wanted the date.

It also was not recorded, so there's that. But it's been over two years since a full band show from the '90s was released. That's fucked up.

Not thrilled with the show choice, but I like the idea of WH Members getting exclusive shows. Hopefully this continues.
