I got into this show by watching the recent fourth season. It was really great how the cast and the storylines worked with each other.

I just started Season One. The recent episode I watched showed a lot of cleavage by Connie Britton. She is one hot actress!

my mom wanted to get into it so i'm going through it again slowly with her so she's caught up by the time the 4th season starts on NBC in a few weeks. i'm pretty sure i could watch this thing all day considering i just finished the series myself up to this point and i'm still drawn in just as much as i was the first time. the show brings man tears almost every episode. what a phenomenal cast of actors.

just watched the episode with saracen's dad's funeral again. god damn, gilford deserves the emmy they're pushing hard for. definitely one of, if not THE, best performance i've seen on television. the scene where he opens the coffin and then shows up wrecked at the taylor's house just kills me.

gilford got fucking robbed of an emmy nom today, but at least chandler got a much deserved lead actor nomination.

Mud Bowl has to be the one episode that should be shown to get someone into this series. I was very impressed by all that happened in that episode! This one episode shows so much what Friday Night Lights(the series) is all about.

so what do you think?

and on a side note, i'm making my way through The West Wing now (man what a fucking show, and hence the avatar) and Connie Britton pops up for some episodes in season 3 and she's playing the total opposite of Mrs. Coach, and pulls it off perfectly. northeast accent, nailing sorkin's rapid fire dialogue, and just showing further proof of how awesome she is.

Just finished the first season and I have to say I am very impressed. That has to be one of the overall stronger first seasons of any show in this last decade.

the 3rd, 4th, and 5th seasons are broadcast on Channel 101 Direct TV first and then NBC about 6 months later.
