I was watching the Away From the World DVD and the Alpine 2012 Blue Water>Best of What's Around got me thinking about all the stuff released from shows I personally attended, and I include the list below for fun and discussion. I think it's a pretty healthy list for taking a DMB hiatus from 05-10, and I bet some of you who have been to a hundred some shows and such might have rival lists. Anyways I am going to make a playlist for my own enjoyment of all these tracks.

6/22/00 - Lover Lay Down, #40
7/6/01 - One Sweet World, When the World Ends, I Did It
7/7/01 - Grey Street, What You Are, Grace is Gone, Everyday, The Space Between
12/14/02 - You Never Know, What You Are, Christmas Song
4/3/03 - Grey Street, Stay or Leave
7/9/03 - You Never Know
8/7/04 - Live Trax Vol 8
7/10/11 - Live On Lakeside
6/24/12 - Time Bomb>Two Step
7/6/12 - Blue Water>Best of What's Around
7/7/12 - Raven
7/6/13 - Recently
7/2/16 - So Right
2/3/18 - Alligator Pie
7/1/18 - Virginia in the Rain
7/5/19 - SiriusXM Friday Night Concert

Just re-watched the House M.D. "Dim-Wit" episode. Forgot how good that episode was.

I think they played the hell out of Stand Up live because it was basically unfinished and they still had to flesh it out somehow. The live performances were essentially the takes they should have done in studio.

Yeah it seemed that SU was just as much a pieced together album as Everyday...maybe even more so because of Batson's approach. Ballard had the things planned out. Stand Up was more "cut and paste"

Yep. Everyday has aged quite well. Stand Up will always be a 1 star album.

Anyone else listen to Scared Straight by The Long Winters and just hear So Right?

It's so weird because it's not really a copy, but the vocal delivery and especially the chorus just make my mind scream "I know this song?"

Nope only have 6/26, 8/27 and 8/29. Long overdue for a 2000 release, the band hasn’t put one out since 2009. 6/30 came out in 2014 but it wasn’t a “DMB” release was released by a different company.

Why I don't like Buddy's singing style is because it sounds like it's from a different genre of music. Reminds me of the Lovely Ladies. His tone grates.

I do enjoy Buddy's playing a lot, especially when it's piano.

One of the first places the Taylor T5 guitar was seen was in Dave Matthews photo shoots and in the American Baby music video... But I don't remember ever seeing him play this live anywhere. Does anyone remember a time that he actually used this guitar?

Nope. I had one for about 56 seconds and then was like "this is a sucky guitar" and I sold it. Man I forgot about that
