While the auction has lots of rules, Lillywhite posted on twitter that basically fuck the rules and it can be more than 2 people along with he will provide the zoom call personally.

I feel like it would be interesting if TDC got a group together to bid and just asked him some interesting question about DMB from the 90's and early 2000's. It sounds like he will be an open book, so we could find out lots about the LWS from his take. I guess we can talk about a small group to pay and just make it public /private. That is spread the link to people here and long time fans we know that don't post on boards any more. Obviously not DMB Family people, lol.

I don't really want to organize this, but throwing it out there if somebody does I'll chip in. Somebody needs to come up with a list of good questions to drive the conversations between stories, because if everybody just shows up to listen this will be pretty terrible.
While not a bad idea at all, my only suggestion would be to wait for the Norlander interview (he's the guy who did the long-form interviews with Lillywhite regarding the big 3 albums). If memory serves me correct, I think the plan was to do a LWS interview after the book comes out. I do believe Steve already agreed to do the interview during the BTCS interview from 2018. If anyone knows if I'm erroneous with any of this info, please feel free to clear it up. Either way, Norlander does an excellent job with his questions, so I'd say just wait for that, as Steve might give more thorough responses.

it sounds like he will talk about anything. This wouldn't be just to talk about the LWS, we could ask him the circumstance that surrounded him doing AFTW or stuff from the early 90's.

Thoroughness is just about asking follow up questions to get him to talk in my opinion. One thing I didn't like about Norlanders stuff is he cut Steve off while he was telling stories to move the interview along. I feel Norlanders thing is totally different as we can ask Steve stuff and Norlander can still do his thing.

Personally I think Steve has no filter and will say anything, in fact maybe even more so here when he isn't in the mindset of being an official interview.

Sounds like there is no interest in doing this though.

Whatever he raises is not even remotely enough to sit and listen to a bunch of DMB hardcores a for an hour.

There definitely is! I'd love to hear any and all information surrounding the LWS. As much of a baseless claim as this might be, I'm assuming most of it will be covered between his book and the eventual Norlander interview.

As far as other questions regarding his history with the band, I would highly recommend Norlander's previous interviews: [Only registered users can see links.]

It's crazy, isn't it? The memories packed into one song are insane. Same goes for SMTS on Crash. That countdown into the riff..

Netflix is apparently making a Woodstock’99 documentary. I’m sure it’s going to mainly focus on the rape, assault, fires and mountains of excrement, but DMB might get a mention or two.

Sounds like the national nightly news.
