Wrong. The 4S had the 64GB option as well.

Wow. Was it offered to certain carriers? When I bought my 4S I had the 16gb or 32GB option. They store didn't offer a 64gb.

The 64gb version was part of the keynote address when announcing the 4s. Every carrier had it in the US

I have a 64gb 4s on Verizon. Now that I have Spotify and Match I could've easily done the 32gb

Verizon. I just bought my 4S earlier this year. The Verizon store I went to only had 16gb and 32gb. I bought the 16gb

Ahh, didn't know that they offered the 4S in a 64GB model. It's not on Apple's specs, they must not offer it anymore.

Do you find 32 GB to be adequate?

I'd love to get the 64 GB, but it's hard to justify spending that much right now.
If you're sold on the 32GB model at $299, what's another $100 (or 33% up charge) for double the space?

16GB is way too small unless you want to be constantly adding/removing apps & music on a weekly basis.

Well, another $200 if I get Apple Care.

But, I get your point. I don't know, I guess I'm just thinking that 32GB will be sufficient. And as music streaming as become more and more prevalent, as someone mentioned, it's not entirely necessary to have a ton of music on my device at all times.

Yeah, the 32gb isn't listed either. They generall don't offer the top tiers of previous iteration with the new one is announced. Probably some inventory still at stores though.

With them officially calling this iPhone 5, I really don't understand why the hell they didn't call the new iPad, iPad 3. It just makes things easier.

Well this is true but for those not on Sprint they will be fighting a 2 or 4gb data plan likely. So, storing offline playlists on Spotify of your favorite tracks will be necessary if you are a data heavy user. That being said, 32gb may still be enough unless you are a hoarder. I'm probably gonna get the 64gb though to be safe. I could see myself taking a lot of pics and videos and shit with this along with storing a lot of music.

I wouldn't bother with the Apple Care. Your phone is guaranteed with Apple for the first year without it. So basically you have between Year 0-1 covered and from Year 1-2 just be careful with it and you'll be eligible for another upgrade and the iPhone 6 by the end of Year 2.

That was going to be my next question.

The only reason I was thinking about it was because of the issues I've had with my current phone.

I had my iPhone 3G for 9 months or so and the little switch that turns the ringer on and off fell off. It was actually just a little cap on a nub switch. I took it to the Apple Store to see if they could glue it back on for me or remedy the problem so I didn't screw it up.

The Apple Rep looked up my account, and were like "Oh, you're still within your first year, hold on." He came back with a brand new one in the box, pulled it out, activated it and I was on my way.

All for a little cap that came off, I got a new phone.
