I loved 2017, it was great to have a legit D+T tour, we hadn't had a full blown one since '03, and man did they deliver. I enjoyed some of those shows in some ways more than the full band shows I saw in 2018/2019. While 6/3/17 was incredible and I was also there and would love a release, I wouldn't complain hearing any SBD from that tour. They were on fire.

Iíll never forget sitting on that side of the hill listening to him on that sunny Sunday. Perfect weekend.
So so good.
Mayer closed with Gravity but he did play Stitched Up.

And yes I vividly remember tripping fabulously during Widespread Panic on 4th of July

If someone wants to track it and post it, it's here waiting. Same for Cancun.

I'm closing on a new house next week and slammed at work.

Is anyone listening to this? Decent run here from Two step thru warehouse. Started very slow. It almost seems like Dave doesn’t want to be there? He seems borderline depressed.

After If the Ocean has its Wave Dave even talks about how he was feeling “crazy”. Something must have definitely been going on.

Speculation - when did his friend die that inspired DYR later that year?

I think his wife’s family is from that area. He mentioned several times he “has people here.” He was probably hungover.

Possibly - the song debuted that September, no?

Just catching up to the 8-19-08 broadcast. I am sure I'm not alone here but holy does that Bartender stop me in my tracks and I can't help but get welled up. What a gutsy and heart-felt performance.

Listening to this - the amount of crowd noise you can hear during Black and Bluebird is disgusting and shows what assholes DMB fans are.

That is what happens when you play acoustic shows in an amphitheater setting. It's the same for every venue they played in 2017. Unfortunate, but was to be expected.

It's the same thing when they play quieter songs full band. You can just hear it a bit more with D&T.

Yep. I wish there was a mini tour with only theater shows.
