It's really bizarre to me how he just kept losing solo spots, and the songs where he still had them were rotated out, so consistently over the next few years.
I hung on after Roi left until this started happening. I noticed it and stopped buying tickets which lead to me listening less and less and now I listen to DMB if my wife puts them on spotify or something. I listened daily during the Roi era.

Yeah, I gave up a few years earlier, but I can go back now even to 2007 or 2008 when I wasnít listening to them and enjoy those shows. But after Roi, I just donít have any interest. But I still love listening to the shows that Roi is on from time to time. Losing Roi took the soul out of the band for me.

I have to agree. Looking back on it, that was the beginning of the end for me. Hard to believe since Jeff is so good, and I liked his guest spots before he was full time. But you can't replace what was integral

The last few posts. Can’t really say much more. I do still listen to DMB from 1996-2004 quite a bit. Still my favourite band.

Yea I think my last show or maybe shows happened in 2009. Can't remember if I caught one night in NJ that year or two? I went to all three nights of the AC caravan and just wasn't feeling it even though some of it was exciting.

On paper, having Jeff and Tim on board should have made for an exciting musical experience. To me tho, itís still the shit songs Dave has written since Standup. Love Roi, and all that, but not even he could save the terrible songwriting direction Dave has taken.

This is a true statement.
