Space between got replaced twice, but i like where your head is at.

I think everyone agrees their catalog is big enough to have certain songs take a break. Some of those dont seem equal caliber like DDTW and Mother Father, but your overall point is good.

Yeah the problem is that some of those overplayed songs are "hits" that aren't likely to go away, like Grey Street, DDTW, etc.
Then again, Space Between and WAYG have vanished for years on end before, so maybe it doesn't matter.

Some of their biggest hits have taken breaks before, so it's not unprecedented:

What Would You Say: played 5 times from 1997-1998; 5 times from 2008-2009

Crash: played 18 times between 2001-2002

Dancing Nancies: Played 1 time in 2001

Typical Situation: Played 0 times from 2001-2002; Played once from 2007-2008

Replace Do You Remember with Bismarck for a year.
Replace Don't Drink the Water with Mother Father for a year.
Replace Louisiana Bayou with Kit Kat Jam for a year.
Replace Why I Am with Eh Hee for a year.
Replace You Might Die Trying with American Baby for a year.
Replace Funny the Way It Is with Beach Ball for a year.
Replace Sister with A Dream So Real forever.
The problem is that they won’t do this. Something cool like YNK and JTR will go on the shelf. Something like Louisiana Bayou, Seven, Cornbread and Shake Me will stay in heavy rotation. This band is frustrating, but that’s reality. Songs like that never get put on the shelf. Songs we hardcore love often do.

I know what you mean. But I wouldn't say that's totally accurate.

Louisiana Bayou took 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016 off entirely - and almost all of 2009 and 2015 off.

Seven was only played twice in summer 2019.

SMLAM was only played 4 times in 2016.

Crash Into Me was only played 4 times in summer 2012 and summer 2015.

SMTS was never played in summer/fall of 2010.

WAYG was never played summer 2018, and was only played 3-4 times in 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, and only a little more in 20151-16.

Stay was placed twice in 2012, never in 2002 or 2013.

Satellite took summer 2005 off completely, and was only played a few times in 2004. (But since then has been played into the ground and needs a break)

The songs that have NEVER taken a real break are DDTW, Crush, Jimi Thing, Grey Street, Why I Am, You & Me, Rapunzel, and Ants Marching. I'd honestly like those to take a break, even though I like some of them in general.

I mean your right about Shake Me, Seven, and Cornbread recently, but Bayou is probably here to stay for a good while. They love it with Buddy.

I’m just saying that in general a lot of the the regular duds will still get played, and brining back duds from the shelf would be pretty meh. If they did it exactly like you said, it would be a bit refreshing, but I doubt Dave would think of it as a replacement like that. He probably just keep on playing the other songs, along If Only and Eh Hee or whatever he bring off the self.

The sound quality on this is really good. Just listened to the acoustic set with headphones on, and it was very nice. I had never noticed Tim’s subtle additions to Stolen Away before.

Dave's acoustic in my right ear. Tim's prominently in my left. Carter is nice and crisp. Just enough Fonz. Perfect mix.

I’ve been ripping people in this community off for two decades. I know trying to mooch stuff now is ridiculous. Thank you.
