That cover art reminds me of Pink Floyd's Animals cover. Didn't they once cover Have a Cigar?

Why yes, yes they did good sir!

However, this is by FAR my favorite Foo cover (even including "Baker Street"), "Band On The Run":

Stomps all kinds of ass when it kicks in at 1:18.

This board won't tolerate threads about bands who get better and better after 20 years/8 albums.

The debut album is still my favourite. What an incredible achievement for a musician.

Front to back definitely their best album. Will always have a special place for me. Really one of those first albums for me that made me release there was more to music. This and Bush - 16 stone for some reason will always be there.

Yeah everyone loves Everlong but Monkey Wrench is "the song" for me of their early hits. That song just slays. Hey Johnny Park is great too.

I think their debut album may be my LEAST favorite in their whole catalog.

It also certainly doesn't hurt to have some of the best music videos out there.

I like Everlong, but to me no other tune encapsulates the fire and energy they bring quite like Monkey Wrench does.

The debut is not my least favorite (looking at you "One By One" although even that one did have a few good tunes), but it's one I really don't play that much these days.

Need to add this here:

I think they make the song their own, especially Glenn. Unfortunately he is now in a care facility because of Alzheimer's disease. At the time of this live recording he was in the early stage. But he still toured to support his last album between 2011 and 2012 after going public. Pretty awesome. Dare I say courageous?

The studio version is found on his 2008 album Meet Glenn Campbell. I think it's more poignant than the original.
