If you want to keep it sealed, the. you can listen to the bonus tracks on Spotify.

and the second big release is supposed to be UTTAD remaster on vinyl/cd, but lets see if it still remains on schedule now.

Any other streaming site? Apparently, Canada is too good for Spotify.

I can't imagine there is any monetary reason to leave these sealed. Unless you got number 343641 or something. There are so many of these & probably more than 1/2 the people will keep them sealed. Open it and enjoy it.

Ok. I went back to dig for this shit that Malakas is stirring up.
Pending a strong defense from you, or some other form of 'proof', I think you're wrong buddy, which I hate to say...

The rumor mill starts with post #354 in the Live Trax Vinyl Discussion thread (quoted at the bottom for quicker access). Looks like, at the time, LT4 had JUST been confirmed/announced for RSD back in April, and there was some sort of 'announcement' elsewhere about there being 2 major vinyl releases this year. LT4 being one of them, and (?) being the other. (of course most of us were hoping LT4 wasn't one of them back in March)

Problem is... we just got the 2nd one with R2T. Ergo, no UTTAD this year (from my estimation).

Sorry to burst your bubbles...

I'd highly recommend opening it. If the pressing was actually low enough for these to go up significantly in price down the road, they would have cost much more initially for the band to make any profit off such a small pressing. This probably will increase in value after enough time passes, but will never be anything like BTCS, etc

Just something I've noticed over the years in pretty much all my collecting areas- stuff that's marketed as a collectable for a band/etc that is vastly popular usually always are stashed away by enough people that they will never become rare.

The LT1 blue vinyl is one thing, but this is definitely a record we should all be spinning guilt free

edit- jack beat me to it, +1

Just an FYI of what you might expect if they release more bonus tracks:

Posted by Steve Lillywhite to alt.music.dave-matthews in 1998 (all wacky punctuation is his).

SILLYWHITE
10/13/98

ok ,,, Granny was the only song recorded for UTTAD that was not included .. it turned out pretty cool but we decided there was enough other good stuff. On Crash , we recorded True Reflections , Get in Line ,Help Myself, #36,,, I think thats all !!! I pretty much decided which was to be used on this one. they weren`t all finished. On BTCS , there was only one song not used which had a working title of Machead ,this may appear with D+T at some point. it is a beautiful ballad.

Thanks man that was really awesome to read. Anywhere we can read the whole thing?

I really hope that Get In Line wasn't abandoned too early in the process and we'll eventually have a nice studio of it. Nothing worse than waiting years and years for a certain unreleased track only for it to end up being one take of each instrument, no overdubs, and only scratch vocals

I'm also hoping that more of the jamming/intreludes from BTCS and the ones SL mentioned from the Lillywhite Sessions were preserved /exist

That's the whole thing. He posted on the newsgroup back in 98 a handful of times. Go to groups.google.com and search for "sillywhite" in the alt.music.dave-matthews group. If you search in general, you get a lot of results for "silly white people," as you probably should.

Just bought the 2 alternate tracks from iTunes. Really like the Pay for What You Get. It's such a feel-good song in spite of the bittersweet lyric.
